Rationale is a .Net application and requires Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista with .Net Framework Version 2.0 or greater installed. If you don’t have .Net 2.0 installed you can download it from Microsoft here.
.Net 2.0 requires:
- Windows Installer version 3.0 or later (available from Microsoft here, or alternatively from a non-Microsoft site here)
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 with Service Pack 1 or later (available here).
NB: These updates to Windows are also available by using the "Windows update" facility built into Windows. If you have this feature turned on, you will probably already have these updates.
To run Rationale you will need:
Operating System:- Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista
- Minimum: 600 megahertz (MHz) Pentium processor, or an AMD Opteron, AMD Athlon64 or AMD Athlon XP processor, 128 megabytes (MB) RAM
- Recommended: 800 MHz Pentium processor, or an AMD Opteron, AMD Athlon64 or AMD Athlon XP processor, 256 MB RAM
- Minimum: 128 MB
- Recommended: 256 MB
- 20MB for Rationale (+ 280MB for the .NET Framework 2.0 Redistributable)
- Minimum: 800×600 16-bit color
- Recommended: 1024×768 High Color (32-bit)
